VALENTINES DAY - GIFTS FOR HER

The daunting task for all men who are dating someone is when it comes to the time of year to buy valentines day gifts. Common scenes often portray hordes of men frantically scrolling on websites 2 days before the big day, or replicating some sort of Usain Bolt-esque sprint around a shopping centre totally baffled at what the right gift to buy is...

Well... in a small bid to try and reduce the worry and sheer confusion for men out there, we at SHUMan have come up with a few ideas of what you could buy your missus that have a 95% chance success rate of making your girl happy and keeping you in the good books and not the doghouse.

The following are some gift ideas from the cheaper to the more expensive end (depending on how many dollar dollar bills you have spare).

** We are not responsible for any breakups, slaps in the face, or awkward half smiles if you're girl doesn't like these gift ideas. Stay safe lads ;) **

1. The Personalised Card (£2.99)

Come on guys, its the 21st century. You can go out and buy a generic-Eric valentines day card, but considering that you're going to spend money to travel to a shopping centre, and then pay a lot of money for a sub par card, you may as well get a personalised card online that is not only a lot more thoughtful but works out at around the same price as a normal one. Funky Pigeon is user friendly and a simple website to order from for this!

2. Photo Frame with a Picture of You Both (£10.00)

A picture frame, featuring an image of both you and your beloved is a perfect valentine's day gift! Again, it's a gift that focuses in on the uniqueness of just 'you and her' with a personal touch. It will make her day, and there's practically zero possibility of her not truly adoring this gift. In fact, I'd personally pay you the £10 if your girl does not like this one. That's how confident we are that this is a good idea! John Lewis has some classy ones such as the picture frame featured above.

3. Personalised Teddy Bear (£35.99)

Look at it ... I mean look at it. Out of the gifts, this one certainly receives the 'cuteness' award. Girls love cute things guys. We are all well aware of this fact. Therefore, a perfect gift would be a personalised teddy bear with either your girl's name on it or a cute phrase or message. This is pretty much going to guarantee that your girlfriend is going to be non-stop cuddling you and Mr teddy for a good 5 hours straight. The heroes at Funky Pigeon are behind this genius gift once again!

4. Romantic Spa Trip (£50-200 per person)

Ok, so whilst the vast majority of us male students are financially dying; burrowed deep into the dark and dismal hole of our overdrafts, there are a select 'ultra-romantic' few out there who have saved up enough money and want to pull out all stops for an impressive gesture. For you ballers, I recommend you take yourself and your girl off for a relaxing spa day(s). Something you can enjoy together and totally chill out... I mean, try having a pointless bickering argument after a 2 hour soothing back massage. Your girl will love this gift, and it's something she can share with you.

5. [Just for the banter...] Penis Pasta (£4.95)

If your girl has a sense of humour and hungry stomach ... these are a great buy! Especially if you're cooking her a romantic Italian-based pasta dish instead of eating out ... An exquisite gift combining two of the world's best gifts: penis' and pasta.
