Let's be honest, walking out on a football pitch with a brand new set of football boots glistening against the sunlight is pretty special. Every footballer takes pride in what boots they wear; and many use football boots to gauge an idea as to what type of player the user is. We've all experimented with different brands and ranges, in the hope of finding a set of wheels that are best suited to our game. Trying to keep up with the all the new releases can turn out to be very expensive. However, it doesn't stop us admiring the professionals play the beautiful game in beautiful footwear. Here are some of the top pro's and their current choice of boots:
5. Sergio Aguero
Sergio
is arguably the best striker in the Premier League right now, and City fans
will dread to think where their team will be without the Argentinean. The 26
year is a puma man and is currently stepping on the field in the green EvoSpeed
1.3 boots. Personally, I'd prefer the back ones but they seem to be working
well for Sergio. This range of boots are also worn by the likes of Radamel
Falcao, Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla.
4.
Neymar
Neymar
is the headline wearer of the Nike Hypervenom Phantom boots. Nike have labelled
this as the 'Agility' boot, and they have picked the perfect player to
advertise the range. The phantom boasts a thin and flexible 'NikeSkin' body,
all designed to improve comfort and decrease weight. The black and orange is
the perfect combination for me; and they are definitely a set of boots I would
love to purchase.
3.
Gareth Bale
As
debut seasons go, Gareth Bale has had a pretty special one. Scoring the winning
goals in the Copa Del Ray and Champions League, Bale is a hero in Madrid. His
boots aren't bad either, the Welshmen turns up to the Bernabeu with a pair of
Adidas F50 adiZero boots. The boots are designed for acceleration and speed,
and it doesn't come as a surprise that Adidas have made Bale their headline
wearer. Just take a look at his Copa Del Ray Final goal and you'll see why.
2.
Lionel Messi
There is no doubt that Messi is a magician on
the football field. He could be playing in bare feet and he would still
dominate. The Argentinean wears the same boots as Gareth but a different style.
Messi is the main man for Adidas and the F50 adiZero must be very popular, due
to 3 time Ballon D'or winner's influence over the football world.
1.
Cristiano Ronaldo
Ronaldo
has been in exhilarating form this season, and many are saying he's playing
better than ever, which is a pretty special feat. The 29 year old has been the
main man at Nike for years now, and is headlining his custom made Mercurial CR7
Superfly boot range with a raised collar. This new style seems to be working
for the Portuguese International, who is currently favourite to win the Ballon
D'or for a second year in succession. Not sure what I think of the raised collar,
but you can't deny they do look brilliant.
Your favorite range will be purely down to taste, but it is obvious that boot
designs are getting better and better day by day. The only problem is, which
one would you go for?
